I think I have said (at least 42 million times) that Neil Gaiman is my favorite author. Coraline is coming out soon and I can't hardly stand it. (Even though the previews contain a multitude of things that were not in the book and that does not bode well for the film.)
I have been watching the Neverwhere mini-series that the BBC did in the 90s. The kids think it is exceptionally strange but I love it. The ability to get obscure things like this makes me love Netflix all the more.

Coraline...again?
Do you think it strange that I am excited about Coraline? (Coming Feb. 2009)
It is, I suppose, a children's novel afterall. But I was a child once. (And, some may say, still a child in many ways)
I was also excited about Stardust when it came out. I think I am more excited for Coraline. Check out the website, and if you are lucky or smart, I will tell you the "Otherworld"ly password to get in to it.
It is going to be awesome.

Coraline coming soon...
As some of you know, and some of you don't, Neil Gaiman is my favorite author. One of his books, Coraline, will be released in movie form in February.
Here is the wicked awesome trailer:

Incidentally, he also wrote Stardust, which was a pretty good movie, but the book was better. (Isn't that always the way?)
He is the author or co-author on most of my favorite books.
I strongly recommend you check him out.
